Hen Party Dance Class Activities | Disco Hen Activities

Here at Team Hen we feel an integral part of a hen party is about strutting your stuff on the dance floor.

We’re all too aware though, that the shapes we throw towards the end of the evening are likely to be…questionable at best.

So why not flip the normal running order on its head a bit, and get your boogie on whilst you’re sober (and co-ordinated!), and book one of the fantastic dance workshops we have in our Directory. Whether your bride enjoys elegant tea dances, has fantasies about re-enacting the lift scene from Dirty Dancing or wants to nail a squeaky clean Glee style routine, we reckon we can find a class for you.

And if you decide to go out dancing to finish off your evening…you’ll be able to show off what you’ve learnt, and ensure that everyone will have their eyes on you for the right reasons!

We’re rounded up a few of our favourites from the Directory, but honestly? You need to visit and have a look at all the amazing options we have on there! To make it easy, you can filter by location (or view on a handy map!) and price, making it easy to plan the best Hen Do ever!

Vintage Jive Hen Party Dance Classes

So, if you didn’t have a Hen Party, and find this listing, and it makes you do a little squeal, is it okay to book a Hen Do five and a bit years later? Yunno, just asking. For a friend.

Boston Jive will teach you some elegant 40s and 50s dance moves, before showing you how to put them together in to a dance. They’ll take photos and videos for you, before you sit down and tuck in to a delicious afternoon tea. There’s even an option to have your hair done – victory rolls for all!

Lyssy Doll Dance Parties

This class promises trophies and a glass of bubbles for everyone. We could probably stop there, right?

BUT NO. Lyssy Doll offer a whole range of different classes dependant on what your Hen like to do. Pick a theme, and these lovely ladies will put together a fun class for you. Fancy yourself as a Pussycat Doll, or are you more of a Baby Spice? Or, celebrate the reason you’re there, and learn the dance to Queen Bey’s Single Ladies? (side note. I once attempted to learn this at a WI session. IT’S HARD. But probably the most fun I have ever had. And my respect for Bey increased.)

Razzle Dazzle Hen Dance Party

Seriously though, Razzle Dazzle Dance Party offer cheerleading sessions! And hulahooping! And burlesque! And if none of that tickles your fancy, they will teach you a routine to your chosen songs.

Plus, the awesome coaches will travel to you, and whilst the cost includes venue hire, if you’re somewhere that has suitable space, they’re happy to teach you there – just let them know when you’re booking.

Bounce Studios

Bounce offer a staggering TWENTY SEVEN different classes. Or, if none of those tickle your fancy, they’ll plan a custom session for you. They have loads of film and TV based sessions available which to us translates in to costume based fun – how awesome would  it be to live out your American High School dreams and have a Glee based class complete with cheerleader costumes and letter jackets?

The team at Bounce will sort everything for you – venue, coaches, music, a bottle of bubbly for the Hen – so all you need to do is rock up, warm up, and get down!

Belly Dance Hen Party Sessions

Get your shimmy-on with a fun belly dance hen party session. This is definitely much harder than it looks, but twice as much fun too. Whether you’ve got your belt twinkling by the end or still perfecting your moves, it’s an energetic day out and one you wont forget in a hurry!

The Sirocco Academy of Egyptian Dance provides bellydance hen party packages across Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and Manchester.

They offer three main types of package, so whether you want a quick dance along, a full lesson with performance and dressing up, or even a full bridal pamper with arabic eye makeup tutorial too- we can provide it.
